Southeast Missouri State's Cole Ferguson hits first HR for RedHawks
Cole Ferguson's first year at Southeast Missouri is off to a solid start this spring. Ferguson, a JC transfer from Western Nevada, leads the Redhawks in hitting with a .355 average. He has recorded 11 hits in 31 AB's, leading the team in slugging percentage at .548. Cole hit his first HR against Indiana University-Purdue last week. Cole attended North Salem High School in Salem and will be in Bend this summer with the Elks.

|Fieldhouse aligns with big leaguers for baseball instruction.|
The Bend Fieldhouse is aligning with Brady Clark Baseball LLC to
perform baseball instruction throughout the year. Clark, a 9 year major
leaguer is teaming up with current New York Yankees hitting instructor
Kevin Long to provide baseball instruction nationwide in the off season.
Clark played 9 seasons in the big leauges. Clark's best year was in
2005 with Milwaukee, where he hit .306 ranking him 9th best in the
National League. That season, Brady played in 145 games, 599 AB's,
collected 183 hits including 31 doubles, a triple, 13 HR's and 53 RBI's.
his career, Clark played in 785 games, had 2,322 plate appearances,
collected 559 hits, with 97 doubles, 7 triples, 36 HR's and 210 RBI's
and career batting average of .277.

|Elks top the WCL in attendance in 2013|
The Bend Elks drew 40,920 in 26 WCL home games at historic Vince Genna Stadium to average 1,574 per game. Whern combining the 6 non league games attendance of 10,363, the Elks drew a total 51,283 fans for the season. Thank you Bend Elks fans!!

The Bucks are for small college players and just graduated high school players going on to play college baseball next fall.
