	President's Day Youth Baseball Camp Feb 20 Monday February 20th the Bend Elks are offering a special President's Day youth baseball camp. There will be 2 Divisions: Washington Division for ages 8-14. Camp Time 9am-1245pm, cost $49.00 Weather permitting the camp will be on the field at Vince Genna Stadium. 	Bend Elks release a 40 game home schedule in 2012 This summer the Elks will play more games at home than ever before. included are eight $2 Tuesdays, four Free Kids Wednesdays, two Cap Nights, Fireworks on the 4th, and plenty of exciting promotional nights are planned. A special day game on Monday June 11 will host several school kids from around Bend. The Bend Bucks, the Elks split squad team, will also play 21 games at home. 	Host Families needed to house Elks for 2012 summer. Bend Elk players come from many universities and colleges around the country to play ball each summer. Host families play an important role with the Bend Elks. Since these players are student athletes, they cannot be compensated as per NCAA regulations and therefore they need assistance with room and board for the summer. If you have a spare room and would like to take a player or two we assure you of an exciting summer watching these guys perform on the field as they seek their goal of someday playing in the big leagues. 	BBQ Deck now taking reservations for 2012 season All Bend Elks home games (other than $2Tuesday's) are available for company picnics, private functions and birthday parties. $15.95 per adult, $10.95 per child gets your group picnic tables, a BBQ meal, ceremonial first pitch and various public address announcements through out the game. 	Bend Bucks collegiate league team posts summer schedule. The Bend Bucks, the split squad team of the Bend Elks, announces a 40 game summer schedule. All homes games will be played at Vince Genna Stadium. The Bucks will also travel to WCL teams Klamath Falls Gems, Walla Walla Sweets and the Wenatchee AppleSox. An open tryout is planned for Jun 13th at 4pm. Baseball America selected Vince Genna Stadium in the 2012 Great Parks Calendar.
The stadium is featured in the month of September. The Elks ranked # 14 nationally in collegiate summer attendance in the US. This is the 2nd time our historic stadium has been awarded with national recognition. In the mid 80's VG was featured in the Best Minor League Parks Calendar.
