Who are the Bend Elks?

The Bend Elks are a collegiate wood bat summer league team. Our players come from across the country playing for all different levels of college baseball who still have college eligibility, meaning our players range from incoming freshman to about-to-be seniors in ever level of college baseball. The Bend Elks play in the West Coast League. This league is considered one of the better collegiate wood bat summer league teams across the country. For a full roster list click here.

How do we choose our players?

During early fall we reach out to different coaches across the country to see if they have any players they would like to place with our program. We place an emphasis on being a local team, wanting to get as many players who attend college or are from the North West. Our goal is to get a team that can grow together and feels a part of the community.

Who are our coaches?

We have been able to get a great coaching staff this season! Our head coach is Trey Watt. He was the pitching coach for the Elks last season. He is an assistant coach at George Fox University. Watt will be assisted by Kevin Kopple and Jared Norris. Both are also currently assistant coaches at George Fox University. The Elks pitchers will continue to be coached by Alan Embree.
