    The Bend Elks made Bend their home long before Bend became what it has today. Known in the early years as a logging town, Bend was small, yet still had a small band of players willing to hustle down to first, in and out of the dugouts, even after a hard days work at the mill.

    Nov 17 was an electrifying day for residents of Madras and baseball fans through out Central Oregon.

    The dimentions of the stadium are 330' down the lines and 390' to center field. The Stadium is known for its panoramic view of the Three Sisters and other adjacent Cascade Mountains. Home plate is situated in a Northwest direction, consequently yielding spectacular sunsets during many of the games.

    Bentrott was a 2008 All Star for Bend. He ended up hitting over. 300 in the WCL and was instrumental both with his glove and his bat during the play-off run in 08.

    Tommy has played for Bend for two summers. The Bend native comes to the ball park ready to play every day. He moved to short this summer after playing mostly 2nd base in Pullman for WSU.

    The Elks honored the birthday of Michael Wilhite July 29th in a game against the San Francisco Seals. Michael wore #5 in his 3 seasons with the Elks.

    Over 2,000 Middle and Elementary kids came to the park on June 11 as part of a field trip. The Elks wont the game 6-4.

    Grant is a sophomore at Seattle University and will return to his home town in Bend for his 2nd season with the Elks.

    Actor Kurt Russell played 3 years of professional baseball, in 1971 he played here, formerly called Bend Municipal Stadium.

    On July 18th, several of the Bend Elks visited the Deschutes Historical Museum to see the baseball exhibit. Several Bend Elks momento's are in the exhibit including photos's from the 30's and 40's, and Jacoby Ellsbury's game worn Bend Elks jersey from 2002.

    The Bend Elks are champions for the first time in team history. During the 2015 Season the Bend Elks went 35-16 beating the Kelowna Falcons to become West Coast League Champs.
