The 2010 Bend Elks had an impressive arsenal in their lineup over the summer. The Elks shattered the WCL single season home run record by smacking 35, surpassing the previous high of 23 set in 2009 by the Moses lake Pirates. The Elks led the league in total runs (256, new league record,) Doubles (88, new league record), Triples (15, new league record), HR's (35, new league record), RBI's (228, new league record), Total Bases (652, closest 2nd was nearly 100 total bases less, a new league record), and slugging percentage (.399, also new league record. Individually, Tommy Richards led the league in hitting with a .364 average and 3rd in RBI's with 33, Donald Collins was ranked 13th in hitting with a .316 avg. The Elks had 3 guys in the top 5 in home runs, Andy Hunter was in 2nd place hitting 6, Kerry Jenkins and Riley Tompkins hit 4. In addition Brenden Kalfus hit 3 as did Garrat Queen.
