	Host Families needed to house Elks for 2012 summer. Bend Elk players come from many universities and colleges around the country to play ball each summer. Host families play an important role with the Bend Elks. Since these players are student athletes, they cannot be compensated as per NCAA regulations and therefore they need assistance with room and board for the summer. If you have a spare room and would like to take a player or two we assure you of an exciting summer watching these guys perform on the field as they seek their goal of someday playing in the big leagues. 	Vince Genna Stadium selected by Baseball America Great Parks Calendar The 2012 Great Ball Parks Calendar's September edition will feature our historic stadium. This is the 2nd time the stadium has been selected for a national award. Under the management of the stadium's namesake Vince Genna, the stadium was selected for the Best Minor League Parks in USA Calendar in the 1980's. Vince would be proud to know the heart of his stadium beats on.
